The actress who portrayed Nakia in the previous movie and will reprise the role in November 2022, Lupita Nyong’o, concurred with the director. The Oscar winner said on Good Morning America in March 2021, “Of course, it’s going to be strange without our king to go back into that environment, but I know that all of us are devoted to recreating or carrying on his legacy in this new Black Panther.” Additionally, Ryan Coogler has some very, really exciting ideas that I can’t wait to realise with my family.
